Red face Looking for opportunities in Formula 1: Narain Karthikeyan
Formula 1 racer, Narain Karthikeyan today said that he was looking for opportunities to participate in the Formula One series.


"As such I am at present doing Lemo series--A 1 races. I am definitely looking for more opportunities for Formula 1 race," Narain told reporters, after flagging of Indian National Rally Championship here this evening.


Asked about conducting an International rally in India, he said so far only one international race Asian Go Karting was held in India.Seeing the response and enthusiasm of the drivers, the day would not be too far for an International Rally in this part of the country, he said.


As such motorsports was becoming more popular in India and more drivers were emerging from Southern parts of the country, Narain said.

He has scored a point in F1(It doesn't matters, if there were 6 or 20 racers, points are points)

All the racing/motor sports are big budget sports, which very few of many can opt for(most cannot afford gocarting). If racing was games played by many(like cricket), We could easily find another Schumi in Huge Indian crowd. We need time to improve situation.
(Now don't bug around here, why there is no other 'Lance Armstrong' here around in INDIA, as almost all INDIANs ride bicycles. Many haven't heard "Tour de france")
