Default Webber: We are still very much a force

Mark Webber has warned that Red Bull are "still up here" despite not being able to replicate their recent dominance in Budapest this weekend.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit came into the Hungarian Grand Prix on the back of two pole positions and two race victories. Webber won in Germany while his team-mate Vettel finished P1 in Britain.

However, they were slightly off the pace this weekend and the Australian was forced to settle for third place while Vettel had to retire following a collision with Kimi Raikkonen early the race.

Webber, though, is adamant that they are still very much a force despite not dominating in Budapest.

"A little bit of a surprise," he said about the result. "We expected to be a bit quicker after our running on Friday but we knew these guys would be around us. We knew we did not have the advantage we had the last few races.

"I'm happy to get the result we did. I could have had a better chance to fight Kimi and do different tyres, but that was my call, but overall we still have lot of positives. We are still up here, we can take our car to a lot of venues and fight and we are still very much a force."

With Jenson Button finishing seventh in Hungary, the lead in the Drivers' Championship is now down to just 18.5 points. Webber believes there is still a long way to go in the fight for the Championship.

"I think still it's a bit early," he said. "We can still fight the Brawns together with Sebastian and I. It's been a bit of a blip for them in the last few races and we hope it continues and we can take some points out of them.

"Seb had a poor weekend and lost some points, but he will back and after the break and we can recharge."
