Barrichello and Rosberg set to swap seats
Rubens Barrichello and Nico Rosberg are set to swap race seats next year, according to media reports. Rosberg has long been linked with a move to Brawn GP where he will in all likelihood partner Jenson Button while Autosport reports that the Barrichello 'is closing in on a deal with Williams for 2010'. According to the website, 'sources have claimed that Barrichello recently visited the Williams factory at Grove to discuss the plans for next year, and it is understood that an outline deal either has already been agreed or is close to being concluded'. Nico Hulkenberg has been tipped to make the move from test driver to race driver for Williams next year and the team are keen to partner a rookie with a more experienced drive. Barrichello has had a great season for Brawn, winning two races and sitting comfortably in second place in the Drivers' Championship behind team-mate Button.
