The actual incident of letting Trulli past etc was honest enough clearly from the radio communication... what is the dishonest part that they tried later is that they thought they could get 3rd place instead of 4th by telling lies and that backfired.

Now the team director is being made a scapegoat and Hamilton playing dumb by saying he did not lie and was misled by the team...

In any case, that decision would not be Hamilton's alone. He might be party to it, but there has to be a team guy to guide him to say what.

The fact is the McLaren never singled out individuals like this before, as they have done this time with Ryan.

Right, it was certainly team wide (including Hamiltion doing it knowingly) dishonesty, and they have a scapegoat. Hamilton clearly lied knowingly and is just playing dumb now to save his rep... "oh i was mis-led by my team"... maybe he was just following team orders/strategy to lie and is regretting it heavily.

So I am predicting we will soon see a souring of relations between Hamilton and McLaren especially if their performance isn't near the leaders...

^^ True.. And performance of the team doesn't seem good. 12th and 14th on the starting grid is hardly encouraging for a team that was continuously among the contenders for constructors' championship for many years..
