Webber: More reliability would be good
Quote:
Mark Webber admits reliability could be Red Bull's weak point at this stage of the game but is confident the team will resolve their issues before the season starts.
Webber was in action for the final two days at Jerez, setting the fastest lap time on Friday. But while the RB6 may have had pace, it wasn't able to get through the day without problems.
'A small mechanical issue', as Red Bull dubbed it, cost Webber two hours of track time.
Further problems befell the Australian on Saturday when, finishing eighth on the timesheets, Webber once again found himself stranded in the pits. This time it was due to an engine failure.
"The weather was a lot kinder to us on the last two days and we learned a hell of a lot, no question about it," he said.
"We did a lot of stuff with Renault and also leaned about the aerodynamics and the chassis - there were lots of things we kept throwing into the fire and we kept learning, so that was good.
"We need a nice clear run in Barcelona and a little more reliability there and we're ready to go racing."
