Epsilon set sights on 2011 entry
Epsilon Euskadi have set their sights on the 2011 Formula One season following the FIA's decision to re-open entries to participate in next year's Championship.
At the moment, one of the 13 team slots is still vacant after USF1 failed to make the grid due to financial problems. Euskadi were one of the dozens of teams whose 2010 applications were unsuccessful, but they are now hoping it will be second time lucky. "We were ready in June and had the financial backing, but for some reason we were not chosen," team boss Joan Villadelprat is quoted by Spanish site TheF1. He added: "We are going to reopen the project and my aim is to reunite all the support we had. If the FIA gives us sufficient time to be ready for next year, we can be in the F1."
