If there's one thing the Hungaroring desperately needs to stop the race being a procession, it's rain. Unfortunately, none is expected this Sunday.
The drivers will arrive in Budapest on Thursday to sweltering conditions with the temperature reaching 36'C. And that won't be the last of the very, very hot days. Friday's practice sessions will take place in bright sunny conditions with the air temperature sitting at 34'C. Overnight, though, the weather will change dramatically with the BBC's weather forecast predicting heavy rain with a maximum temperature of 25'C. The rain is expected to move on quickly with skies on Sunday bright and clear. A maximum temperature of 27'C is forecast for the race. pf1.com |
