Well to be fair the team has nothing to do with India
So lets not get "yoohoo" over it Heck they rejected Indian drivers too(or the other way round, if you wish ). And the Indian media is crying out as if its a historic day for India. Morons :dx:

Anyway Fisi could have come first today really. But for the safety car and KERS, Kimi was a bit lucky to be 1st

Actually, ill agree with you partially that the KERS is def an advantage at some points. But also consider that on the straights yes, the ferrari has a highly visible advantage. On the turns the ferrari had to deal with the sheer pace of the force india car and still managed to stay ahead with kimi's aggression and experience, (yes even considering that the KERS can be used as defence, but also consider how long SPA is.. and kers works only for 6 seconds in a single lap) It was still very good driving by kimi in the first lap.

The chasing car is always faster. The driver in front will always be thinking about the car behind and will be distracted while the car behind just has to follow the lead of the car ahead

Thats actually only part of 1 fact. The front car reduces the drag on the car behind and lets it into its "slipstream" which enables the car behind to go faster. Also consider the KERS can be a boon and bane.. 30 kgs extra on an F1 Car.
