Default Red Bull unveil the evolutionary RB6

Red Bull Racing have taken the covers off their 2010 challenger, the RB6, revealing that the car is a more an evolution than a revolution.

Last year's runners-up in both the Constructors' and Drivers' Championships are hoping to go one better this season, confident the RB6 can build on the results of its predecessor.

In 2009, Red Bull's RB5 proved to be the pick of the field in the latter half of the Championship with Sebastian Vettel fighting for the World title up until the penultimate race of the season.

Red Bull have therefore opted to build on last year's success, unveiling a car that is clearly an evolution of last year's challenger.

Like the RB5, this year's car features a V-nose solution, however, it's more pronounced than last year's.

Added to that the Renault-powered RB6 has the shark fin engine adopted by the majority of the teams in the pit lane

Some of the most notable changes from last year's car to this year's can be seen at the rear. The team has swapped last year's 'pull-rod' rear suspension system, allowing them to get the most from their double-decker diffuser.

The RB6 will be in action later today at Jerez when Mark Webber puts the new car through its paces.
