^ i doubt that very very much.. Kers is known to disturb the balance/handling of the car as showcased by McLaren so effectively. While it may not be the major cause ( Aerodynamics is speculated to be the issue ) it does affect the overall weight balance in the car itself. Added to that The total weight of the driver also makes a huge difference.
While the McLaren/Mercedes KERS system might be one of the best out there, the overall output isnt that great Not to mention that being at the back of the lot + kers might make them the ultimate losers of this season. I might be wrong. but wth. |

^ I hope it is. either way that FOTA ban should come into effect. But if you did see the williams design for the KERS which included a flywheel system behind the drivers seat, they managed to reduce the overall weight by 15kgs. But again thats in the testing stages. Lets see what happens.
